ok i was just wondering but how do you know when a guy likes you or is just being friendly? i mean this guy that i like that my friend told me that he doesn't like me anymore but then again when i am around him he acts as though he does still like me. I would like to use my laptop to preview images vice the LCD screen on the camera. I know that using the supplied video cable you can plug the camera into any TV with an RCA jack and use the TV as a monitor to preview images but I don't own a nice small TV to put in my studio. Since my laptop already is being used for down loading & processing images I would prefre not to add another piece of hardware to my small studio. I have an RCA:S-video plug so that I can plug the Nikon camera cable into the s-video port on my computer but I don't know how to turn my laptop monitor into a simple display screen like a TV monitor. ok im 17 yrs old weightlifter. i had been having pretty mad migranes/headaches for about a week now and i couldnt figure out why until tonight. i just did a small photoshoot this friday and one thing i noticed from the photoshoot was focusing. it was so difficult for me to focus in the night with the canon 40d. i couldnt tell if the darn thing was in focus or not. i tried using auto focus but it wouldnt focus correctly. my question is, how on earth do you focus during night shots. i find it nearly impossible.This is where having a good viewfinder is important. Though when it is really dark it doesn't make that much difference. When I am at night and I can't tell if the pictures are in focus or not, I usually try to refer to the lens. hi I'd appreciate any help. A friend has made a flash menu for a video cd I'm doing. It works find on pc's flash plugin but on the mac quicktime 4 won't play it. It just shows a whitescreen for 12secs whereas on a pc thats the intro screen with a bit of looping music. An earlier demo of the file worked ok. We are racking our brain with what has changed apart from adding more content. I plan to try some other things on the mac but I want the menu to work on as much stuff as possible - has anyone any idea what would cause this behaviour? I am currently working on a sub menu system. When a main menu button is pressed it changes the _alpha from 0 to 100 for the relevant submenu. All of the submenus are piled ontop of each other and as a result the ones ontop block the rollover effect of the buttons further down the pile. To remedy this I have been attempting to implement a method whereby when the menu button is pressed it not only changes the _alpha to 100% but also places the submenu MC at the front. I think i may have one problem with my camera. Should the camera picture dial that tells you how many pics you have left go down when you rewind the film? Cuz I was snapping some pictures without film in the camera and it went up. So when I put in my film the dial was already at 8. And when I got to 34 pictures on the dial, I knew the roll had to be done, yet it was still advancing normally. I would like to use my laptop to preview images vice the LCD screen on the camera. I know that using the supplied video cable you can plug the camera into any TV with an RCA jack and use the TV as a monitor to preview images but I don't own a nice small TV to put in my studio. i just did a small photoshoot this friday and one thing i noticed from the photoshoot was focusing. it was so difficult for me to focus in the night with the canon 40d. i couldnt tell if the darn thing was in focus or not. i tried using auto focus but it wouldnt focus correctly. my question is, how on earth do you focus during night shots. i find it nearly impossible.This is where having a good viewfinder is important. Though when it is really dark it doesn't make that much difference. When I am at night and I can't tell if the pictures are in focus or not, I usually try to refer to the lens. hi I'd appreciate any help. A friend has made a flash menu for a video cd I'm doing. It works find on pc's flash plugin but on the mac quicktime 4 won't play it. It just shows a whitescreen for 12secs whereas on a pc thats the intro screen with a bit of looping music. An earlier demo of the file worked ok. my 2 and a half year old has chapped lips even though she drinks lots of water all day. I tried to put chapstick on her, but she keeps licking it off. Is there a chapstick for toddlers? I am currently working on a sub menu system. When a main menu button is pressed it changes the _alpha from 0 to 100 for the relevant submenu. All of the submenus are piled ontop of each other and as a result the ones ontop block the rollover effect of the buttons further down the pile. To remedy this I have been attempting to implement a method whereby when the menu button is pressed it not only changes the _alpha to 100% but also places the submenu MC at the front. I can't however seem to get this to work. I think i may have one problem with my camera. Should the camera picture dial that tells you how many pics you have left go down when you rewind the film? Cuz I was snapping some pictures without film in the camera and it went up. So when I put in my film the dial was already at 8. And when I got to 34 pictures on the dial, I knew the roll had to be done, yet it was still advancing normally. Now the weird thing is, when I rewound my film (pressed the film rewind button and cranked it) it felt it was resisting and when it stopped resisting I assumed that it was done rolling.
